Thanks for the informative reply!!! I do have one question, and it basically is the basis for all of the apprehension that I have about working on the 323. The whole injection system sits above the master cylinder and starter on the car I looked at. It seems that this would pose a big problem if either went bad or I wanted to put some trick brakes on...etc. Basically, I see myself having to pull the head more than I want to (I guess I *could* live with that when I consider how incredibly the car drove). It seems that even changing the spark plug wires could be an ordeal! LOL...anyway, I am just kind of thinking out loud here. It looks like I am going to buy the car . . . it seems pretty bombproof, and I want something that I can drive every day on the highway and not worry about it.

Anybody have a rollcage and a five-point harness for an e21 for sale? :)
