Most BMW enthusiasts would pay good money for a whole car like you describe. I hope your friend is aware of its worth. As far as parts go, I don't think you could make over 2,500 (my estimate of th car's worth) in parts. Keep it in one piece and sell it to someone who appreciates the fun-factor. The internet is a great way to find potential buyers.

: Hello all,

: I have a friend who is in the market to sell his 1983 320i. I believe the car is worth more in bits and pieces than as a whole car.
: Here are the details:

: EVERYTHING except for the clutch master cylinder is either perfect or brand new.

: The engine has only approx: 75K orig. miles. No wrecks, cracks etc.

: I would like to get offers on the parts of the car, as I have offered to do the dismanteling, and selling of them. No part is too small or too large, I also have a cutting torch, so body parts are not out of the question either. ( no rust at all )

: Please post offers or e-mail me @ brokernick@bmwcentral.com

: Nick

: car is located in Indiana.
