It should have a tag on one of the rear bolts. with some numbers. dividing one by the other should give you the ratio. "S" = LSD. If the tag is gone, im told it is also stamped ino the housing on one of the machined pads.

: I always want to find out what diff. ratio I'm using on my 323i. I did't put too much concern when I bought this( LSD ) together w/ a 5 spd cr box many years ago. Does anyone know how to check it out?
