Grandpa bought me a 79' BMW what is it (archive)

All I Know is that it is a 79', it's champagne color, 5 speed, sun roof, and TURBO!!!!!!
I haven't seen it yet(that's why I don't know what it is). It is in New York where grandpa lives, I am in Oklahoma where my new car is not. I'm gussing it is some kind of 3 series but I'm not for sure. I'm sorry for the vague info, but if any of you know what kind of BMW it is please guess- it will be lots of fun to see who gets it right.
