320i (US spec) will not work on a 323i unless you swap the entire strut housing. The 323i has a larger front strut as do 320/6 with sport pack. The 77-79 front housings and all will swap with a 323i if you take the whole thing ansd use 323i hubs. later us cars have smaller bearings and I'm unclear on wha it would take to swap them.

: I am looking to buy or trade for race height coil overs - or - springs and shocks complete, and sway bars. I suspect these parts are interchangable between the 323 & the 320; correct? I'm also looking for large sway bars front and rear.

: My car is an 81. It has a 2 year old Dinan stage 2 suspension with rear non adjustable coil overs and matched Bilstien HD sport shocks, springs and matched Bilstiens in the front. The car is a track car only, and has very few (less than 10) events on the suspension - it's in perfect condition.

: The Dinan stage II lowers the car about 1.5", but is not low enough for the track, and I'd prefer adjustable. Perhaps you put a full race suspension on your street car and you don't like the harshness and rattles?
