Hi Kel,

I'd recommend you buy a stock BMW muffler. Mine is the third since 1981, so an average of 6+ years per muffler. This is better performance than the mufflers on any other car I have owned. Try ordering from Maximillian Inporting - much cheaper than the authorized dealer.
