I need help locating coil - '79 323i (archive)

I'm working on the 323i right now and can't seem to locate the ignition coil. The coil is no where to be found so I got another one, the problem is, I can't figure out where it was originally located. No mounting bolt in sight, or wires that go to the terminals. The ignition wires, cap, rotor and coil were all gone on this car (the front end had to be rebuilt after an accident and the car sat for years, parts ended up disappearing) and I'm not familiar enough with 323i's to know where they go. HELP, I'm almost ready to start this puppy up!
