Callaway did make a turbo. I think TOP END still does. www.racetep.com If your car is really nice, and you can work the smog logistics out how about a engine swap? Baby six is reasonably easy, big six not real hard, and e-30 m-3 and E-36 will also go in. Bet a baby six would be cheaper than a turbo. There are some 323i for sale. see arne's page. Click my site, then list all e-21 sites. his is the greymarket website

: Alright heres my scenario. I want my car to be a bit quicker. I own an 83 320i. I've already done the whole exhaust. Tri-mil header, freeflow cat (i know.. sounds silly, but i gotta pass smog around here) ansa super sport muffler. Good as i can get. After labor (much welding that i couldnt do) cost me around 600 dollars. I've also sunk money into the distributor. And minor repairs. Total on repairs about 1200 dollars. I paid 2600 for the car (had only 79k on it and good interior when i got it) I like the car. What im thinking though, is should i sell the car and buy a 323? How much could i get for my car? Its only up to 85k miles. Runs great. Or should i keep upgrading my car? New intake, new camshaft? What about getting a turbo? I heard calaway makes one, but where would i even get one? Im really stuck here.. And could use any advice anyones got. Stick with my car and keep dropping money in it? Or get a 323? Thanks in advance guys.
