One goes to the gas tank vent line that runs under the radiator and ends below the evap tank. The other runs up to a vacuum connection on the throttle body (passenger side) next to the distributor vacuum advance hose. I don't remember which hose is which on the evap can...

Word of advice for all:
Don't plug up the fuel tank vent line. I did until I realized pressure was building up in the tank, enough to cause fuel to continue flowing through the injectors for about an hour after turning the engine off. This was flooding the engine and causing it to run way to rich.

: The Smog Only shop would not let my car pass the visual part of the smog test because of a missing hose.

: Under the battery is a evaporation tank. Out of that are two hose nipples. One (the upper) of those has a hose connected to it the other doesn't. The mechanic would not pass the car because the bottom hose is missing.

: Any ideas as to where this hose should be connected?

: Thanks,
: Martin
