Redline is by far the best tranny fluid. Im not saying that others ARENT good, but if you want to get the most out of your transmission, and get it to last the longest, i'd reccomend Redline. Its much better on the synchros, and you should notice the difference.


: Yes I would appreciate imput. I have been running atf with micron in my 84 318i 5speed. It seems to work fine with my short shifter so far with no strange noises coming from the trans YET. Am I slowly destroying my trans, or would I be safer with red line MTL thanks.
