: I have found a 3.0L M-30 engine and harness for sale and would like to put it into my 323i....and thoughts? What are the problems? How about the cost involved....

i have a 3.3L motor in my e21. the only real work is making the custom motor mounts.there is fabrication but very minor.the rest is knowing which factory parts will work. trust me. its nothing like everybody says. proof is in my 155mph top speed (some engine work)and having the car for ten years and still driving it to this day. its not a pie in the sky.
