Let me tell you my story. When I bought my car it had a very wobbly idle when first started up. I then had the fuel distributer and injectors replaced. That helped a lot but the problem persisted. My mechanic then suggested getting rid of the vacuum advance distributer so I replaced it with a Tii mechanical advance one. I highly recommend doing this. It makes the car more responsive. Then I tracked down a vacuum leak. Now I am close but when hot the car will stall out. Everything else is fine. Based on advice from this board I am going to change my pressure regulator and fuel filter this weekend. I will tell you how it goes. My advice, based on experience and reading a lot of forums is that the hot stall is from lack of fuel and the wobbly idle is from vacuum leaks. Keep looking for one. Good luck.
