Can the 1.8L be fitted on the 2.0L block?? (archive)

I have a bored 2.0L block and want to put the newer 1.8L head on it... is this possible? If so please, please, shoot me an email so I can get to work!! Thanks!

PS. Any other hints on any other performace mods are welcome!
