The e-30 is not prone to rust. The chassis is far superior to the e-21 so the handling is vastly improved. The e-21 is only marginally easier to work on, but I find I spend much less time working on my e-30 than I do any of my e-21s. As you would hope from a newer model, the e-30 benefits from evolution.
