E-30 wheels on E-21: need spacers (archive)

I put some E30 wheels on my '78 320i. The spacers that came with it are not enough to clear everything (tie rod ends) From what I've read, I thought they were supposed to fit without any spacers..... anyway does anyone have suggestions or know where I can pick up some spacers without paying over $100?
