79>82 struts in 320i (archive)

Just bought an 82 and am gonna move the good stuff from my 79 over. will the struts in the 79 just bolt in the 82 for the bigger bearings and what not? Also is there any Reason not to use the injection from the 82 on my 79 2.0?
