So that means neither BMP or Bavarain Autosport can do your business. Check & see Korman-Stahl header but I believe it will be much or less the same as SS or Ansa.

The cheapest way I can think of is finding a local muffler factory to make one. It may not as cheap as what you think of & I will also wonder the fitment coz' it's not a simple job to make a header.

My opinion is swinging some money out & getting something you want so bad. The difference is tremendous w/ header ( provided you've already got the sports mufflers )! Header is not a cheap part no matter in a BMW or a Honda Civic.
