On the differential, there should be a plate that is bolted on the back of the differential..; the plate will tell you the differential rate as well as if it is fitted with limited slip or not... for example if you see S3.91, it means the ratio is 3.91 and that it has ltd slip.
If you only see 3.45 for example, the ratio would be as indicated, but then you have no ltd slip.
Another thing to know if you have ltd slip or not, is looking at the housing of the differential... you shouyld have a S cast into the housing or sometimes painted... The size of the S is really big, so you can't miss it... at least 2 inches big!!!
sometimes if the differential is rusted and the S has been painted, then you may have troubles to see it... but usually you can figure it out.
