It is far simpler IMO to replace the entire lower control arm than to try to bang out / press out & bang in / press in sway bar bushings. I purchased a pair of control arms completely installed w/ new sway bar bushings and ball joint for $50 per side at Bavarian autosport.

: I am ready to replace the front sway bar bushings on my 83 320i. I have never done any suspension work. My bushings at control arm to sway bar have a metal sleeve. I would appreciate the advise from you guys who have done this.
: How do I do this job? Do I need special tools?

: Thanks,
: Nello
