Brake question for euro 323i (archive)

Can anyone tell me which side your brake booster & master cylinder sits when you are inside the car in US ? I need to know if there is any different in between LHD & RHD version in order to order a correct master brake cylinder. Any part no. can give to me ? Do you think RHD & LHD share the same cylinder ? Any idea ?
