i am looking for some info on this engine swap. i see it as a better option than putting the smaller m-20 engine with its weak timing belt and lack of potential ie. 2.7l vs 3.5l. some of my questions are:

1.will i be able to fit the getreg 265 tranny?

2.is there a common radiator available from another model car that will fit and do the job of cooling a bigger engine?

3.i have weighed the m-30 engine: it weighs 500 lbs. if i move the battery to the trunk and eliminate the A/C and american front bumper will i come close enough to maintaining my stock weight distribution? ie. 50:50

4. should i convert to 323i power steering?

thanks for all your help. i know its been done before but it still holds the illusion of being a new idea for me.

greg
