Yes, and No.

Korman makes some springs which would probably work for less that Schrick springs.

If your 323i is still cis or is a daily driver you should probably stay with a 272. The 288's that I have heard are pretty radical and a 2.7 will need significant bottomend improvement to stand revving to the 288's power band.

This was discussed at length a while back too so you might search the acchives.


: OK, Looks like I'll be replacing the cam in my 323i that is being upgraded to a 2.7l and I'd like to upgrade to a schrick or?? I think I'll just go with the 272 duration??

: The guy at BMP design says that I must replace the springs with a set of racing springs to the tune of $250, is this the truth??

: What are my options? Any recommendations, like a different stock BMW cam instead. The stock cams are way less expensive and new springs only run like $3 each.
