I recently had to replace the pully to the alternator on an 83' 320i. What was supposed to be a simple replacement has turned into a nightmare. Before I replace the pully I went ahead and bought a new alternator as well. When I put everything together, the battery would not charge and drain slowly. I have put in a distrbution block, have made connections that go to the alternator, that looked fishy, better and tried a new ground and a new power line. THe next step is to get the alternator tested. If anyone one has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. THanks
