I Have also seen them at $800--$2000 ... Check for rust in the front corners of trunk and below the taillights. Make sure the odometer is still working, (many don't). Watch for signs of overheating, cracked heads, etc. Look for signs of leaking master cylinders, (brake and cluch)..
