I assume that you were working under the dash when you drew a spark. And I also assume that the ignition was turned off when you were working. That would isolate the blower and should keep it from damage. Perhaps you flinched when you saw that spark and unplugged a connector?? (just a WAG)
I assume also that the rest of the electrical equipment works OK -- radio, brake lights, fuel pump, headlights dim to parking lights, etc -- so the ignition switch is OK and you need to wring out the circuit from there to the blower. Easiest place to start checking is the fuse panel. Put your multimeter or test light on the blower fuse and see that power goes off and on with the ignition switch. Check the connector on both ends of the fuse, with the blower turned on, because they sometimes stop conducting even though they look good. If power at the fuse is OK, then check for power down the line to the blower; if not then check back to the ignition switch. Yes, there are a lot of assumptions above, but I hope I gave you a lead for troubleshooting.
BTW I had an intermittent high beam once that turned out to be a loose connector plug on the firewall under the dash. Took a long time to find that...
Good luck
