I need to replace the brake pads that operates the parking brakes in the rear of my '82 E21 323i, which has discs in the rear. I am not particular about getting brand new parking brake pads if there's a used set out there. i live in S. Austin.

OTOH, if I can't locate used & have to purchase a new set, do you or anyone else know if there's an interchangeable model in the BMW line that I may cross reference the parking brake pads for the 323i at the local dealer/NAPA/AutoZone and not have to special order these?

Very nice cars. What type of air dam is on the E21??

: any tips on retro fitting a chrome bumper set from a 323 onto a 320? i have a 320/6 conversion and don't like the diving board bumpers on the NA 320. i have a set of ok chrome ones left over from my donor 323.

: also, i have been thinking about tossing the fuel injection for the triple carb setup -any thoughts? i think i will get a full diag on the system first to see if it can be tuned well enough to keep.

: what a fun car with a real engine.

: thanks,
