Hestitation during acceleration (archive)

My 1982 320iS hestitates while accelerating, especially noticable while accelerating in 2nd and 3rd gear. The #1 fuel injector has just been replaced. I've tried fuel injector cleaner. I know to check the fuel pump(s), fuel filter and the other injectors, but I wanted some direction as to which to check first. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
