Need info on Davico Catalytic Converter (archive)

Is anyone familiar with Davico Manufacturing in New Bedford, Massachusetts? My car is in the shop preparing to have a new catalytic converter installed and the mechanic has sourced a Davico cat system. He says he hsn't had any problems over the years. I searched the archives and found nothing on Davico, but a lot of other info. Relying on the archives info, I would avoid Miller and Bosal and buy a DEC from someone like Maximillian. The Davico price is around the same as the DEC. Thanks for any input, Mike.
