Ok, maybe it's just me but this seems a little odd to me.
From talking to other 320i owners it seems like a messed up clock on the tach is pretty common. BUT, in my case if the weather is warm (Warm in Oregon is 70 degrees and up) my colck "becomes" accurate. Other times when it's cold or rainy it picks some random numbers when you turn on the ignition. Also, the dome light that comes on when you open the doors or trunk: Worked fine until about a week ago...had a cold/wet spell (especially in the evenings) it started to flicker when the door was being opened. It would become steady when the door stopped moving. Then one night it quit. But today, it's around 78 degrees, and it comes on now! Also, the backlighting behind the temp controls was dead when I bought the car. One nice warm evening I turn on my lights and OH MY GOSH, backlighting! That lasted part of a night...hasn't worked since. Maybe tonight?

Given, I've owned this car for about 3 weeks, so I'm not too familiar with the electrical aspects of the car, nor am I very mechanically inclined. I bought this car to learn on. Can any of you listers diagnose the cause? It's sorta amusing in a away....
