: : I have a 320 rad in my 02. Plastic top and bottom (Behr)Can anyone tell me the correct activating temperature for the switch installed on the bottom left side? TIA

: tell me your VIN # so i can cross check, but it seems to me that the only temp gauge is located near the mechanical thermostat on the top hoses... The holes are just blocked with a plug on my part catalog... but i can make sure when i know your VIN and if you have A/C, automatic or manual, ...

David, I have no idea what the VIN for the 320 was. I pulled the radiator and electric fan off an early 80's Canadian version 320is. I put them into my 75 2002 and I wanted to use the switch (at least the plug on the bottom of the drivers side of the rad has two terminals so I presume it is a switch) to run the fan in automatic mode. To know if this was even realistic I was wondering at which temperatures the switch opened and closed.
Thanks, Terje
