HELP! 320is sunroof repair?? (archive)

Does anyone have any ideas on the correct way to reasemble the manuel sunroof crank/gears on a 83 320is. Took apart to lube and clean. Now it seems to want to jam???? Is there a special alignment with the primary drive gear and the crank handle??
