Help -320i Engine Electrical Connections (archive)

Just re-installing the head on my 82 320i and I've got two extra(?) electrical connectors I can't figure out. I videotaped the connections before I started but I can't make these out in the film. The first is next to the auxilary air valve on what I think is the cold start valve. There is a blue connector bundled with the air valve connector that will plug up just fine to the cold start valve. But there is also a blue connector comming from a relay(?) on the firewall that would also work. Can anyone tell me which is correct? Also, where does the other connector go - I'm all out of places to plug things! The second is at he front of the engine on the "twin branch manifold." There is a brown connector next to it coming out of a large cable bundle that will plug up just fine. There is also a brown connector coming from the same relay as aforementioned that will also work. I seem to remember that there was an extra connector in this area. I always assumed it was for diagnostics.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
