Got an 81 320i that just will not start for the longest time. Takes about 7 minutes of off and on and then waiting to get this thing to start. The fuel pump under the rear wheel is running. I have pressure at the cold start injector (although I haven't the slightest clue how to test to see if it actually sprays from the injector). I swapped several things. The additional air valve (on the head), the cold-start injector, the fuel pump relay, that pressure regulator deal that is allen-bolted on the driver-side of the block, the little whirring pump thing that is on the side of the fuel distributor. I've been struggling with this problem for about 6 months. I'd really like to be able to test some of this stuff, but haven't a clue. Any ideas how to do that/what else I can start looking at? All the plugs have spark too.
