Put 77-79 K-jet in my 2002 any thoughts on subject (archive)

I have a 79 parts car here at my house. I got it for the LSD
to put on my stripped 323i and hoped I would find it to be a 3.45 but I think it is a 3.9.
But I was wondering if anyone thought the K jet would be an upgrade to my 2002. I don't know much about the FI but thought while it was here I'd pull it and maybe give it a try.
Is this insanity or is this a more reliable fuel source than
solex or webers?
Please share you thoughts.
