Check in the archives, but I believe that the clearance issues are not as great once you get to a 16" wheel. The 16" should be big enough to clear the suspension so you have more options for off-set in the front.

: I own an '82 320i, I was looking at some 15" or 16" wheels, what offset are your BBS, would it be the same for 16"?
