Thanks, John...you may be right, since it idles too fast too and won't adjust down any further. I'll pull the carb and make another gasket (couldn't buy one) and put a gauge on it. I am told that these cars are very sensitive to ign timing, too. Right now its just "set where it sounds right". As for the fuel pump, I happen to have a CIS pump, too. Any other CIS thoughts?
