Hi! I looked in my DIY-book for 320/323i E21. I found some possibilities for your problem.
1) The cuff off the main-cylinder is leak.
2) The main-cylinder is damaged inside.
3) brake-system is leak.

All other possibilities can not be, because your problem is not permanent.
