Thanx Robert, but I hope you are reffering to the shocks with (or diam.). Cause I´m from Iceland and there isn´t much of tech-talk in english here so I hope you forgive the "dumb-ass" questions. Anyway, the shocks diam. is 51mm on all my BMW´s (´81 318i, ´80 320/A, ´81 320/6) and because the 318i isn´t supposed to have but 45mm it made me wonder if I was messuring the right thing. And to be completly stupid: Isn´t it messured on the leg (shock) under the lower springretainer?
