Jon, looking at the fuse box from the drivers seat point of view the two fuses on the right front of the box are for the fog lights l&r. there should be two wires not in a harnass coming out of the front of the fuse box that look like add ons. these are the hot leads to the lights, I am not sure about what goes back to the switch but I did find them in the haynes manual and managed to get them to work on my 79 and 82.

: does anyone have a wiring diagram for the factory fog lights for an 81 320i? they seem to have been omitted from the haynes manual
