I put a LSD from a 81 323 on my 77 320. All I had to do was change the splines on the diff to match the older 8mm bolts on the 77. Piece of cake.
good luck.

: I have found and pulled a much needed 3.64 diff and half shafts from an 79 320i to install with my Close Ratio 5 speed in my 81 323i. This car was stripped of many tranferable parts and the diff and half shafts were gone when i got it.
:
: Will I have any problems transfering this diff and half shafts to the 323i with the 323i trailing arms. Are the half shaft compatible in length between the years? I know they both use the 8MM allen so I am hoping the half shafts will be the same and it will bolt right up.

: Thanks for your help before I get under the car.
: Craig
