: : The ignition wires on my stock 1983 320iS need replacing. There are many after market brands to choose from including ones that claim to boost performance and mileage over the stock wires. Has anyone found an after market brand that lived up to its claims?

: NO!!! the oem Bosch 7mm wires are the best ones to use. They have the proper fit, and oem quality and performance. Hopes this helps. Al

Plug wires are all about getting the most spark to the plug and the Accel wires have less resistance per foot than the bosch wires also they have a much better contact area at the plug (you use the bigger tips) so you get better spark and more power, try it. and use dialectric grease at the cap and plug ends also
$30 gets you two sets cant beat that better performance for less money go figure
