Gary, I think this would be a fair price if the car is really nice. I have '79 320/6 I pulled home from the junk yard two years ago which I had running in 15 mins. The next day I was offered $1000 sight unseen. Today the car is still in process, but very driveable, and it is a joy to drive..so smooth and OH, that SOUND! Offer 'em $1600 and see what they do..(prepared for the "whole Monty".)
