The sway bar in turn is held to the body frame extensions in two clamps, one on either side. There is a split rubber bushing inside these clamps to isolate and hold the sway bar to the body. All these parts shold be in good shape, but I can tell you that the issue of wheel balance is the Biggie. These cars will actually work ok with a loose front end if the tires are in perfect balance and running true. (it is better handling, tho', if all else is good!
