: Hi,
: Planning to buy a used 318-i in Boston, MA. Any experiences with BMW in snow and winters. Does the traction control and LSD help? Please help me make a decision.
: thank in advance

Contrary to urban legend, BMWs are fine in winter -- but you must treat them like rear wheel drive cars. Get a set of four real snow tires. That will do more good than traction control or LSD. Remember your weight is not over the drive wheels and be cool.
