unless early and late differ, or 320i and 323i differ, it is bolted to the core support slightly below the bumper line one on each side. you should be able to see it from the wheel well looking forward.

one is a high tone, one a low.

: : I bought my 77 320i last fall and found that the horn was in the trunk. I've since looked for the lead to hook it up,but no luck. The wire my have been cut down very short and I've no clue as to where it hooks up- which part of the engine bay does it belong?

: Without going to the garage to look at mine, I believe it is behind the left side grille, just beside the headlights. Hope this helps. Al
