Hi,

I've been a BMW in general fan, for a while now, and I am now thinking of getting a used one.
What I want to know is, how reliable is a a BMW or a 3 series in particular? (in comparison to the regular Toyota's, Honda's & Nissans)

What is the usual milage lifespan for a Bimmer? and approximately how much more expensive are the major parts? (transmission rebuilt or Engine?)
