Well I can't answer your question but I can tell you we are driving an '84 315 for 4 years now, and with great pleasure.. even if it is the most simple model in the range: it has never let us down! the counter now says 193000 so over 40000km we drove with no major probs xpt the usual like brakes batt coolingsys and: major drawback is rust and leakage in front and back but to reassure you the former 315 we had didn.t have this probl at all just I was so stupid to crash it after 3000 km... so good luck with your choice!
