I currently have a 1980 320i and a 1975 chevy blazer with a chevy 350 in it. I was wondering if I was to rebuild the 350 engine to around 500 horsepower and put it in the 320i what else would I have to modify on the car eventually as funds dictate I will most likely put a ford 9in rear end into the car. but also will I have to cut out the firewall and the trans area. I realize that I will have to also change the front springs and shocks. But is this a job that is easily done without much cutting and fabricating. The cars color is graphite metalic and I do have some spare parts from a tan 320i. Also the only thing i want on the car to give away the engine size is I want The rear emblem to say 350 320i. This car if I decide to do this is based on your imput will be a sleeper so I can waste all of the camaros at my school with a dinky 320i. I probably would have kept the engine that is in there now but to make that engine a performance engine would be more than I can afford but the 350 is easy to find parts for. My other option but less likely would to find a 1994 toyota supra with a good engine and put that engine in the bimmer but still cost is important

Please give advise on weather I should follow through with the process or not.

Thanks
