I owned a 320is with HRE 15x6.5 wheels and the widest tires i could fit without rubbing the front airdam were 215/50's. The rear was not a concern due to stiffness.

But seriously, get a gurantee that the wheels will fit from some tire store, and if they don't, have them remount a pair that will. They always want to sell lower profile wider tires for the profits!
