I was just wondering if anyone out there would know if there is a way to convert my 81' 323i to accept rims with a 5 bolt pattern.. There seems to be a better selection of these...Is it possible to swap out the front and rear rotors to accomplish this

81' 323i a work in progress

Greg, switching to a 5 bolt pattern will not help you in your quest for wheels. The bolt pattern on our cars is a VERY common 4x100mm. The problem with wheels on E21 is the offset.(ET12)This will not change with a different bolt pattern. My street wheels are 15x7" TSW Hock Rs. I only had to use a very small spacer(5mm I think) Other than that, their were no problems. I use a 205/50/15 Yokohama A520. Hope this helps, Al

Thanks, I was aware of the offset "problem"... however it seems that in a 5x120 bolt pattern there are a greater selection of rims available with the correct offset..even some newer BMW models...
I am sure it will not be easy, but what in life that is worth it is?
